Festival 59: Rally the Kindred

The Festival of the Trees 59 is now online at Spirit Whispers, and serves as a rally cry for all the tree-minded kindred.

This month’s artistic host Suzi Smith called upon contributors to share the ways in which they are inspired by trees. In Festival 59 Suzi weaves a tale of tree-guarding crusaders. Through her arboreal lens, each person who harkens the call of the trees is a defender of forests. We may be called upon to plant saplings in annual ritual, craft metal to mimic the sparkle of leaves, pull on our boots and sail through forest trails on an ORV, or strap on our climbing gear and scale trees to learn their biological secrets.

Get into the spirit with the Festival of the Trees 59, courtesy of your fellow tree-watchers.

  1. The way you describe it sounds great! I really enjoyed creating this… another thanks to everyone who submitted their links, it is you that make the festival.

  2. Check out what we’re doing at the Gutter Tree Project.
I think you’ll be surprised and delighted like we are.
