Festival 56: Return to Treeblog

The fifty-sixth edition of the Festival of the Trees is fresh, as the kids say, meaning “very good/fly” according to the Urban Dictionary, and also fresh as us old-timers say, meaning “brand new,” at Treeblog. For the second February in a row, Ash has done a very good/fly job of bringing order to a great variety of links to blogs, photos, a video podcast, and even a few webzine posts, covering the usual gamut of tree-related topics, and traveling from the dwindling old-growth forests of British Columbia to the Anamalai Hills in India and London’s Russell Square, with many stops in between. Poetry and stories, conservation and environmental science, enjoyment and learning, spirituality and the visual arts — it’s all here. Or rather there. Go read.

About Dave Bonta

I'm the author of several books of poetry, including Ice Mountain: An Elegy, Breakdown: Banjo Poems, and Odes to Tools, but my real work is at my long-running literary blog Via Negativa, where I'm currently creating erasure poems from every entry of the Diary of Samuel Pepys. I'm also the editor and publisher of Moving Poems, a blog showcasing the best poetry videos on the web.
