Festival 48: Wandering Owl

Check out the latest edition of the Festival of the Trees at Wandering Owl Outside. Casey’s enthusiasm is obvious — he even posted it a day early! And whatever this edition may lack in quantity of links is more than made up for by their quality. The use of trees by wildlife (not just wandering owls) was the focus this time, and I was especially fascinated by a post exploring the importance of tree resin to honeybees. High-quality photography and poetry and valuable conservation information are also featured. Go visit!

About Dave Bonta

I'm the author of several books of poetry, including Ice Mountain: An Elegy, Breakdown: Banjo Poems, and Odes to Tools, but my real work is at my long-running literary blog Via Negativa, where I'm currently creating erasure poems from every entry of the Diary of Samuel Pepys. I'm also the editor and publisher of Moving Poems, a blog showcasing the best poetry videos on the web.
