One week left: submit!

If you haven’t yet written a post or submitted a link for the next festival, please be sure to do so by next Monday. I’ll be quite dependent on other people’s submissions this time, since I currently have limited access on a shared computer at slow dial-up speeds (28k/sec or less) and therefore don’t get to do much web surfing, especially of photo-rich sites. Send links to bontasaurus (at) yahoo (dot) com, and be sure to put “Festival of the Trees” in the subject line — I have the world’s messiest inbox.

In other news, I’m pleased to announce that three different bloggers have responded to our pleas to host the festival. The FOTT will be appearing at Raven’s Nest in September; trees, if you please in October; and Windywillow in November. All slots from December on are still open.

UPDATE (July 24th): Lorianne of Hoarded Ordinaries has just signed up for the New Year’s 2008 slot. December, anyone?

UPDATE #2 (July 26): O.K., December is taken, too — Riverside Rambles will host once again.

About Dave Bonta

I'm the author of several books of poetry, including Ice Mountain: An Elegy, Breakdown: Banjo Poems, and Odes to Tools, but my real work is at my long-running literary blog Via Negativa, where I'm currently creating erasure poems from every entry of the Diary of Samuel Pepys. I'm also the editor and publisher of Moving Poems, a blog showcasing the best poetry videos on the web.
