Festival #11 is up

The first themed edition of FOTT, Trees in the Concrete, has appeared this May Day morning at Flatbush Gardener. As always, part of the excitement is in checking out some new-to-the-festival blogs, as well as in re-visiting the old stalwarts. And Xris has assembled a truly impressive array of links that fit the theme.

Considerations of trees in urban landscapes seem apropos for this day of May Pole circling, Morris dancing, and international street protests. What could be more subversive than trees in the concrete?

About Dave Bonta

I'm the author of several books of poetry, including Ice Mountain: An Elegy, Breakdown: Banjo Poems, and Odes to Tools, but my real work is at my long-running literary blog Via Negativa, where I'm currently creating erasure poems from every entry of the Diary of Samuel Pepys. I'm also the editor and publisher of Moving Poems, a blog showcasing the best poetry videos on the web.
