Mary in Panama finally got her internet service back and was able to complete and post the December edition of the Festival. Her post reads like an essay and takes in a wide variety of links: science, history, poems, photos, humor, meditations. And with the weekend here, most of us don’t have any excuse not to go exploring with her.
As previously mentioned, the January edition will be hosted by the British Columbia-based Rock Paper Lizard. Send links to talba [at] shaw [dot] ca, or via the online submission form. The deadline this time is December 28. If emailing, please put “Festival of the Trees” or “FOTT” in the subject line so your submission won’t be overlooked. Remember that you don’t need to be the author or artist to submit a link. If you enjoy the festival, why not get in the habit of sending along any interesting tree-related links you find? Remember, too, that we welcome photosets and the occasional non-blog-originating news story.
See you on New Year’s!
