Call for Submissions – Festival #17, Halloween edition

locust roots 5

Twisted branches reaching towards the moon… Gaping holes in gnarly trunks… Misty fog and falling leaves… Ghostly white trees in moonlit pastures… These are the trees of Samhain, the end of the summer season.

For Halloween Festival of the Trees I would like to feature eerie, dire and menacing trees. Watch out, for the trees may uproot themselves and follow behind you, muttering in treeish speech!

That’s how Windywillow describes the next edition of the festival. You can read her entire post here. Note that she has set the deadline earlier than usual, October 26, so she can get it done by Halloween. Other tree-related posts are still welcome, but may or may not be included. Post about spooky trees if you want to be guaranteed a spot in this exciting edition!

Email your links to silviasalix (at) yahoo (dot) co (dot) uk, with “Festival of the Trees” in the subject line, or use our handy submission form.
